Police have released an e-fit of a man they wish to speak about two city burglaries.
Both offences, which officers are treating as linked, happened sometime between 9.30am and 2pm on June 12.
In both cases, the offender gained entry via a rear window having climbed a fence.
Once inside, the man searched the place and stole jewellery including rings, a necklace and watches.
The first burglary happened in Culbertson Lane, Blue Bridge, and the second occurred in Bertram Close, New Bradwell.
The man in the E-fit is aged around 25-years-old, is 5ft 6ins, medium build, and was seen in the area of Blackwood Crescent.
Det Con Chris Oakman said: “We would ask members of the public that, if they recognise the man in this E-fit image, they come forward please and identify him for us.
“We believe that one person may be responsible for committing both offences, which are linked by a redway which runs through Blue Bridge and up to New Bradwell before continuing to Stone Pit fields in the Oakridge Park area.”
