AN apple a day is said to keep the doctor away, but what about lots of apples?

Well, you turn those into apple juice or slurp, slurp, cider, of course!
The Parks Trust will show you how, with another Discover session on Saturday.

The introduction to the art of cider making will start at 10am and roll all the way through to 5pm, at the Campbell Park Pavilion.

The course cost is £15 and pre-booking is essential.

Don’t get ‘pipped’ to the post, call MK 255379 and secure your spot.

IF you remember, the Olney Jazz Club was forced to move to a bigger location when it returned from its summer break last month.

Once held in the perfectly acceptable Bull Inn, the monthly meeting of the musical kind is now being hosted at the larger Carlton House Club.

On Tuesday, Susan Valliant Speer becomes the latest artist through the doors, and she is bringing a tried, tested and successful show with her, The Legendary Ladies of Jazz, which has already enjoyed successful stints around England and Wales.

Saxophonist Alan Wakemen will be among her quartet of class. Tickets are on sale at £9 and £7. Doors at 7pm.
