Legendary folk singer Kieran Goss is back at the Stables for Music in the Garden this weekend.
In the second of five summer weekends of top quality entertainment set in Dame Cleo Laine’s idyllic garden, Kieran will take to the stage to perform a string of his greatest hits.
Long hailed as one of Ireland’s leading songwriters and performers, his music has won him fans across the globe - including Scottish singer Eddi Reader.
“It was actually Eddi who told me about the festival,” said Kieran, who dueted with Eddi at the Stables in 2013.
“So I was delighted to be invited over.
“I’m really looking forward to playing at the Music in the Garden - it’s going to be a fantastic day.”
On Sunday, Kieran, who appeared at the Stables many times, will be joined live on stage by talented harmony singer Annie Kinsella who also just happens to be his lovely wife.
The pair have been described as being gifted singers in their own right, but when they sing together “magic happens”.
Kieran added: “I’ve played at the Stables a few times, firstly as support to Fairport Convention and also Eddi Reader and then my own solo shows last year.
“The sun is going to shine, we’ll sing songs and have a great time!”
Don’t miss this rare chance to see him live and solo on Sunday, June 21 at 2.30pm at the Stables - www.stables.org
