DONS’ mouth-watering League 1 clash against Sheffield United this Saturday has been designated as the club’s third stadium:mk Ladies Big Day.

The majority of the day’s activities will be held in the Club Red area where female fans (and accompanying gents) can purchase tickets for just £20.

Female season ticket holders from other areas of the ground can also upgrade to Club Red for just £5 along with their accompanying season ticket holder friends and families, male or female.

Club Red includes access to the Clydesdale Bank Ballroom, complimentary half time tea and coffee and the opportunity to meet the man of the match directly after the game. A series of special events has been planned, with activities starting from 1.00pm in Club Red.

Free taster massages and facials will be on offer by Clarins Spa courtesy of John Lewis and will no doubt be the highlight of the event for many. There will also be a raffle held with a corporate box for a matchday on offer and a number of prizes kindly donated by Clarins Spa. Manicures will also be available.

Other features planned for Ladies Day include a special display by the MK Dons Ladies Team and the Girls Centre of Excellence at half time. And additional ballgirls from local football teams will be in action pitchside throughout the match to support the team.

Andrew Cullen, executive director at MK Dons, said: “We are pleased to announce the return of the Ladies Big Day given that it has become a special event in our ‘Big Day’ calendar designed to encourage more people to experience what Milton Keynes Dons can offer them.

“With a safe and inviting stadium atmosphere, we hope that ladies and girls who may not have attended a match before might think about becoming regular supporters or even take up a new sport!”
