E-fit released after teen girl’s phone stolen

An e-fit of a man, wanted in connection with a robbery in Bancroft, has been released by police.

At about 8.25pm on October 23, the victim, a 17-year-old girl, got off a bus and was walking to a subway near Bancroft roundabout in Grafton Street when a man tried to snatch her mobile phone.

The man then punched her in the face as she struggled with him and he ripped her coat before he ran away, stealing the phone.

The man in the image is white and in his late teens to early twenties. He is about 5ft 9ins to 5ft 11ins tall and of slim build. He is described as having a thin face and pale skin. He was wearing a hoodie with the hood up.
