Over the past 20 years, Bletchley Park has become an internationally renowned site, as the home of British codebreaking and a birthplace of modern information technology.

From Saturday, March 26, to Sunday, April 10, the Nifty Numbers Trail is free to all visitors, bringing the site to life for children with puzzles, challenges, games and activities.

On Easter Sunday, March 27, a drop-in workshop called Think Make Do... Codes will be repeated throughout the day, delving into the secret world of coded messages.

Five to 12-year-olds can bracelets, decipher messages to reveal a hidden spy phrase and play with sounds.

On Easter Monday, artist Ruth Singer will give children aged eight to 14 the chance to get crafty with a workshop in which they’ll make a gift card with creative coded patterns.

Children under 12 visit free all year round too.

Parents will also have the chance to win a Suzuki Vitara, thanks to Progress Suzuki Milton Keynes, which sponsors Bletchley Park’s education outreach programme.

The car will be outside the Teleprinter Hall on Easter Sunday and Monday, containing a safe. Crack the safe and win the car.

Also for adults, the nephew of famous Bletchley Park codebreaker Alan Turing will be giving a talk on Sunday, April 3.

Sir John Dermot Turing will give a unique family perspective on the life and work of his uncle, played by Benedict Cumberbatch in the Oscar-winning movie, The Imitation Game.

Visitors can add a little luxury to their visit by stopping for afternoon tea with finger sandwiches, scones and cakes in the Victorian Mansion.

Throughout the Easter holidays, tables can be reserved when booking entry tickets.
