Autumn is well and truly here now that the clocks have gone back and city youngsters are fascinated by seasonal changes to their surroundings.

Little ones from Incy Wincy Pre-School in Downhead Park are making the most ofthe mild autumnal weather by having adventures in their wooded outdoor area.

The two, three and four-year-old children have been enjoying exploring the great outdoors and spotting the golden leaves and new seasonal fruits.

Manager of the private day care group, Christine Halsey, said: “The trees in the wooded area have produced delicious plums for us to enjoy.

“The children are having a great time collecting natural resources, including leaves, fir cones and twigs to make lovely autumn pictures.”
