Medical Alert Assistance puppy Ember popped in to meet her sponsors at Woburn Sands Co-op recently.
Ember was as thrilled to meet staff at the store - who raised money to name a puppy for the charity - as the staff were to meet her.
Ember will spend up to 18 months with socialisers in Biggleswade, where she will learn basic training before moving on to the specialised scent training for her particular job.
The Great Horwood-based charity provides dogs for people with type 1 diabetes, Addisons disease and epilepsy.
It is currently seeking full time socialisers and long term dog foster homes.
Medical Detection is holding an open day for people interested in finding out more about the roles on Thursday, February 27, 2014.
