The 2.69 acre development site is situated at Campbell Park, which was recently awarded Grade II status by Historic England due to its historic interest and innovative design.
Its sale, which comes with outline planning permission for 60 new "high quality" apartments, has been launched by commercial property consultancy Kirkby Diamond.

The planning permission provides for the construction of 40 one-bedroom apartments and 20 two-bedroom duplex apartments totaling 47,346 sq ft.
Kirkby Diamond head of land planning and development Andrew Wright said: “This is an excellent opportunity to acquire the last site of its kind at Campbell Park. The site is sure to attract a lot of interest and will be an interesting bellwether in these uncertain times. The site’s access to the park and the network of footpaths and cycleways is an added attraction.”
The site is also close to the new McMullins’ pub currently being constructed as part of Crest Nicholson’s new marina development which includes 383 new homes, a café, restaurant and a mix of retail units.
