People of Wolverton are being invited to a special event next Tuesday to help them decide who they should vote for in the Parish Council elections.

To help local people decide who they should vote for, St George’s Church in Wolverton is organising and hosting a pre-election meeting on May 1 at 7.30pm, where those standing for election will tell residents about their vision for a newly elected Town Council.

The event will be an important for those living in the local area who want to find out more about potential future councillors, giving them a chance to make an informed decision about who they want to take responsibility for the future of Wolverton.

Peter Dockree, Curate of St George’s and Holy Trinity explains how the meeting will work. He said: “We are looking forward to welcoming the residents of Wolverton and Greenleys to this important and historic event. We want to provide a forum for important local issues to be discussed so that people can know who they are voting for and why.”

All voters in the Wolverton & Greenleys Parish are welcome to attend. St George’s Church is located in Wolverton alongside the Agora car park, MK12 5EX.
