THE evolution of Milton Keynes will be the subject of the latest Fred Roche Roundtable event tonight.

The meeting, which will take place at the City Discovery Centre in Bradwell Abbey, follows on from the Fred Roche Memorial lecture held in July, which provoked a great deal of debate and left ‘1001 unanswered questions’ to be discussed.

Fred Roche was an integral figure in the development of the city, serving as Milton Keynes Development Corporation General Manager.

Tonight’s event will start at 7pm, with people advised to arrive from 6.30pm.

The topic of the city’s development will be discussed by a panel of experts, followed by a question time format.

Professor David Lock, the chairman of DLA Ltd and one of the architects involved in implementing the original plan for Milton Keynes, will be chairing the meeting. Panellists will include John Miles, Jonn Worthington, Lee Shostak, John Bint and Theo Chalmers.

People can book their place at the event by visiting the Fred Roche Foundation website or by calling 01908 227229, and can submit a question for the evening by emailing Stuart Turner on st@studiost.co.uk. All questions received will be presented to the chairman.
