Rob Griffiths produced the carving as part of the recently-opened Rocla Art Trail on Redhouse Park estate.

Local children loved the fairy figures and interactive artwork so much that they immediately started leaving letters and gifts to the root’s resident ‘Dummy Fairy’.

The fairy has, of course, replied.

The Rocla Art trail is a series of specially commissioned sculptures and artwork sited throughout the estate, which is near Newport Pagnell.

Free guide booklets for trail can be downloaded from the website and found in libraries and other centres in Milton Keynes.
