Thousands of visitors headed to ZSL Whipsnade Zoo today (Monday) as the UK’s largest zoo reopened its doors for the first time since lockdown began.
Visitors who secured one of the 3,000 tickets released last week basked in sunshine as they enjoyed the Zoo’s incredible wildlife, including six-month old Greater one-horned rhino, Zhiwa, wild boar piglets born in lockdown and the Zoo’s herd of Asian elephants.
