A FAMILY is desperately appealing for the return of their digital camera containing pictures of their son’s wedding.
Steve and Sue Weeks had been at son Martin’s wedding at Abbey Hill Golf Course on Saturday, August 15, and at 12.15am the following day got into a taxi, to go home.
Sue placed the camera, along with Steve’s guitar, into the back of the car but forgot to take it out again when the couple returned to their Oldbrook address.
Steve said: “I woke up the next morning and asked Sue where the camera was. It was then that we realised it had been left in the cab.
“We were going away the following day to celebrate our wedding anniversary and got our family on the case but they didn’t get anywhere.”
The couple are now desperately appealing for the return of the camera. Steve added: “I hope someone can just send the memory card to police or return the camera. It would be so greatly appreciated.”
