FeedMK showed the tastiest kind of Easter goodwill at the weekend, with a free four-course meal for people across the city.
Throughout Good Friday the group fed over 300 of Milton Keynes’ most ‘in need’ families and individuals.
Every guest not only got to enjoy a meal and chocolate egg to take away, but the event also featured fun for all ages.
And there was also a mix of craft events plus live music from Carl Nielsen. Spokesman Elizabeth Preece said: “The best part of the meal was seeing everyone come together. We had people of all ages, and a real sense of community.”
FeedMK was founded in 2010, and provides meals every Christmas and Easter at Atlantic House in Tongwell.
The events are primarily aimed at single parent families, low income families, the homeless, the elderly, and anyone down on their luck who is looking for friendship and community.
