Fire crews called out to canal boat fire

Fire crews were called out to a canal boat fire off Stoke Road, Bletchley, last night.

The incident happend around 8.14pm with the river cruiser, moored on the Grand Union Canal, severely damaged. No-one was hurt and all the occupants accounted for.

One appliance and crew from Bletchley and two from Great Holm attended, along with the Water Rescue Unit from Newport Pagnell and two officers. Firefighters used one jet and one hose reel.
