Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service (BFRS) said it sent two fire engines and two crews to the bedroom fire in Coverdale, Heelands, on Saturday (October 24) at around 7.30pm.

According to BFRS, the first floor of the house was damaged by fire, heat and smoke, and there was also light smoke-logging to the ground floor.

BFRS said firefighters dealt with the situation by using one hose reel, two sets of breathing apparatus and a fan.

Firefighters also isolated the gas and electricity, checked the neighbouring property for heat travel and carried out reinspections during the night, according to BFRS.
