Firefighters come to the rescue of cow in deep water near Milton Keynes
Have you herd the one about the cow that got into a spot of bother in the River Great Ouse yesterday?
Firefighters had to don drysuits, and used a rescue sled and strops to move the beautiful beast after he got in trouble at Northampton Road in Lathbury.
The Water Rescue Unit from Newport Pagnell, the Animal Rescue Unit from Aylesbury, an appliance and crew from Aylesbury, and one from Kidlington attended the incident.
Presumably, the cow was not a-moosed at his mishap!
