Firefighters respond to three-vehicle collision involving lorry in a busy Milton Keynes road

Firefighters were called to the scene of a three-vehicle road traffic collision involving a lorry in Milton Keynes today (Thursday, September 24).

The incident on the A5 northbound near Little Brickhill happened at 1.25pm and was between the lorry, a people carrier and a car.

Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service (BFRS) said it sent two fire engines and two crews to the scene.

A BFRS spokesperson said: "Firefighters used rescue equipment to release a woman, injured, from the car."
