First ever Scooterthon for Willen Hospice

Willen Hospice mascot Florence has officially launched the Mini-Moo Scooterthon with a visit to Willen Primary.

The school will be hosting its first ever Scooterthon this month at Willen Lake North.

Children aged between four and 11 years will complete a lap of the lake on their scooters in support of the care provided at Willen Hospice, and the children will be rewarded for their efforts with medals and goodies.

Special prizes will be awarded for those who raise £100 or more in sponsorship.

“We just can’t wait for our first ever Mini Moo Scooterthon!” said Sarah Sweet-Rowley, events manager at Willen Hospice.

“We need to raise £7 every minute of the year to continue to provide our care and the Scooterthon is a great way for some of our youngest supporters to have fun and support our work.”

Spaces are still available. For more information visit www.willen-hospice.org.uk/scooterthon
