Five people have been arrested on suspicion of affray after a dispute between neighbours in Wolverton on Friday.
The incident happened in Horners Croft at around 6.20pm and there were no significant injuries in the incident.
Men aged 23, 30 and 42 and women aged 35 and 23 were arrested in connection with the incident and released on bail until October 30.
Sergeant Samantha Watson, who is investigating the incident, said: “This appears to have been a dispute between neighbours that got out of hand.
“I appreciate that there may be some concern and speculation in the community but I would reassure residents that this is being treated as an isolated incident.
“A number of arrests have been made and our investigation into what has taken place is progressing.”
