Five new coronavirus cases in Milton Keynes today

The number of new confirmed cases of Covid-19 continues to be low in MK, with just five reported today (Thursday)

One person has sadly died over the past 24 hours after testing positive at MK hospital.

There are now 448 lab-tested cases of the virus in Milton Keynes.

Nationally there have been 674 deaths over the past 24 hours. This figure, released by the government, includes deaths in care homes as well as hospitals for the first time.

Total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK now stands at 171,253, an increase of 6,032 since yesterday.

The total number of Covid-19 associated deaths in the UK is now 26,771.
