IT’S been a case of wet, wet, wet for Milton Keynes over the last couple of weeks.
And the city’s rivers and lakes have reached bursting in the last few days – as these pictures from our readers show.
The wet and windy conditions made life tricky for the more than 3,000 runners in Sunday’s first Green City Marathon, while on the same day Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service issued a warning to motorists to take care on flooded roads.
And the Environment Agency has placed a flood warning on Newport Pagnell.
Phil Marsh sent in his picture of a refuse truck trying to get along a flooded Milton Road in Willen Village on Sunday, while Lesley Rose emailed pictures of a wet looking Teardrop Lake on the same day.
And Twitter user Helen Lawson tweeted her pictures of a sodden Caldecotte Lake.
