The force was strong at B&Q Milton Keynes last weekend, as customers enjoyed a family fun day featuring famous faces from the Star Wars franchise.
Wannabe Younglings and Padawans came face-to-face with Darth Vader, Storm Troopers, Chewbacca, Jedis and MKFM’s very own mascot ‘Samantha the Panther’ before embarking on a treasure hunt mission to find a hidden code-phrase for the chance to win prizes.
Little ones were also treated to face painting and a magic selfie mirror, which printed photographs as a memento of their day, whilst adults were surprised as Darth Vader and friends tried their hand at different jobs around the store.
B&Q Milton Keynes Store Manager, Martyn Buzzard said: “The event was superb. There was great energy in store and it was good to see customers and staff getting involved in the exciting activities held throughout the day.
“It’s been really busy and a fantastic way to thank our existing customers and staff, whilst also welcoming new faces from Bletchley. It has definitely been enjoyed by all.”
Jo Dyer from Stewkley, who attended on the day with her two sons said: “It was a great family-friendly fun trip to B&Q, thank you for entertaining my children!”
