The city’s former most wanted man has been been charged with a number of offences in Milton Keynes, West Midlands, Staffordshire and Northamptonshire.
Darren Levy, of no fixed abode, was arrested on Saturday in the West Midlands area and was charged with a number of offences including grievous bodily harm with intent, relating to an incident on September 7 last year in Milton Keynes.
He was also charged with conspiracy to commit a burglary with intent to steal, covering the following offences: Menai Grove, Longton, Stoke-On-Trent, August 4 to 5 where an Audi was stolen, Cressey Avenue, Shenley Brook End, November 7 to 8 where an Audi was stolen, Braybrooke Drive, Furzton on the same date where an Audi was on the drive and the keys were upstairs.
It also related to an incident in Wordsworth Avenue, Newport Pagnell, on October 16 where two Audis were stolen and another on October 21 in Cross Brooks, Northamptonshire, where a BMW Mini was stolen.
He was also charged with driving a motor vehicle dangerously, relating to an incident on November 9 in Birmingham, driving while disqualified, using a motor vehicle on a road or public place without third party insurance, possession of a controlled drug of Class B (Cannabis), and possession of a controlled drug of Class A (Cocaine), all relating to the same incident.
He appeared at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court yesterday and was remanded in custody.
