Debenhams, which is in the intu centre, has teamed up with the theatre to bring a fairytale Christmas to shoppers.

“We can’t wait to surprise and delight unsuspecting shoppers,” said theatre director Emma Sullivan.

The panto cast members will be in store next Wednesday, December 20.

The tie up is part of Debenhams’ Christmas #YouShall campaign which has been running since November.

Supported by TV, radio, social media, outdoor and digital ads, the campaign has seen stores up and down the country converted into a glittering ball room scene for the season

The TV execution tells the tale of a young woman who loses her shoe, not dissimilar to the panto’s Cinderella.

Paul Cassidy, MK Debenhams store manager, said: “Christmas is a truly special time of year for both young and old. We are delighted to be working with Milton Keynes Theatre to bring that extra touch of fun and wonderment to Christmas shopping with a link up that ties so strongly to our Christmas campaign. At Debenhams you shall find your fairytale Christmas.”
