Youngsters are being lured into Milton Keynes Theatre – with a fantastic free ticket offer.
Following a successful trial in 2011, the venue has teamed up with Globe Theatre on Tour to offer free tickets for performances of Henry VI, showing at the venue between August 7 and 10.
In all, a total of 1,421 tickets are up for grabs for people aged between 14 and 21 years old, in a scheme called, rather obviously, Fourteentwentyone.
Coincidentally, 1421 is the year of King Henry VI’s birth!
“It’s our ethos that theatre should be accessible to all,” said Mike Keane, general manager at Milton Keynes Theatre.
“The young people of today are our audiences of the future and are incredibly important to us.
“Fourteentwentyone is the perfect scheme to give young people the opportunity to experience a wide range of diverse programming to inspire and engage them in the arts,” he added.
To take advantage and claim your free ticket, call 0844 871 7652 or pop in to the box office, remembering to take along a photo ID with your date of birth when collecting your tickets.
