FRIENDS and family of Maggie Thomas have raised an amazing amount of money thanks to a charity pamper night.

Arranged by family friend Caroline Mcevaddy, Maggie’s Hope Pamper Night saw 200 people visiting St Thomas Aquinas School in Bletchley.

While they were there visitors were treated to a number of different treatments including massage, waxing and nail design to name just a few.

Stalls all around the school hall sold items ranging from CDs to cakes and the raffle sold so well that organisers needed to get another book of tickets.

The night was held in honour and support of mother of six Maggie, who is suffering from a cancer that had seen doctors give her just months to live.

However, she is still fighting on and the money will go a long way towards a last ditch treatment in a private clinic in Germany that will cost around £30,000.

Caroline said: “I thoroughly enjoyed the night and it was amazing and a true testament to how well loved Maggie is, she is just the most amazing woman.

“Despite her illness she still wants to help everyone and it is wonderful to be able to help her and her family.”
