A pensioner was left shaken after being robbed while walking alone along the redway.
The 84-year-old pushed to the ground and had her bag, with cash, bank cards and mobile, stolen from her during the “frightening” incident.
The thief made off from the Kiln Farm industrial estate redway up a grass embankment onto H3 Monks Way.
He got into the backseat of a waiting vehicle, which was possibly cream or beige. There was a darker car parked in front of it and both vehicles drove off together in the direction of Central Milton Keynes East.
Det Con Chris Oakman said: “This was a frightening ordeal for the victim who was understandably left shaken. It is vital that we find the people responsible for this crime.
“The vehicles mentioned may have been parked in the bus stop on H3 facing the oncoming traffic.
“I am interested in speaking to anyone who saw these cars or who can provide any further description of the vehicles or people in them.”
The offender is white, approximately 5ft 7ins, slim build, possibly aged in his twenties, and was wearing a hooded top with the hood covering most of his head and face.
The robbery happened at around 10am this morning. The victim sustained minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment.
Contact police on the 101 number if you can help.
