Frosts donate chickens to White Spire school

Staff and pupils at White Spire School have been working on the development of their garden for the past 11 months and now they’ve been given a helpign hand by Frosts.

This has been, and continues to be, an expensive large-scale project for them and when Frosts Garden Centre heard of the school’s plight, they offered their expert help - at no charge - drawing up practical solutions to their problems, and donating five chickens, with a supply of chicken accessories for their run, to join the two guinea pigs and one rabbit already in the school.

Last year the school managed to grow enough vegetables to help with Cookery lessons. This year the school are selling hanging baskets and hoping to offer bedding plants as well as a good variety of vegetables and flowers.
