The family-run business has invested over £1.5m in making dramatic changes to the historic centre that includes a completely new roof and modernised furniture fittings. The project, which has taken eight months to complete, is now fully open for customers to enjoy and just in time for Christmas.

“We’re delighted with the finish of the centre and the feedback has been overwhelming,” says James Frost, managing director at the centre.

“This is our 70th anniversary year of running the family’s business and we constantly look to add more value to our centres to create the best possible customer experience. We’re thankful to our customers for putting up with the disruption of the building works but I’m sure they will be happy with the results.”

The first completed stage of the works saw the creation of the region’s largest outdoor furniture space (currently transformed for Christmas displays and products) and now customers can now experience the new Terrace Restaurant, separate from the Garden Room restaurant.
