Fulbrook Middle School pupils persevere with values

Becoming a successful member of society is about more than just achieving exam results.

On this principle staff at Fulbrook Middle School encourage pupils to adopt 12 values which encapsulate the spirit of the school and prepare students for life beyond the classroom.

Those values are respect, happiness, honesty, responsibility, caring, trust, empathy, perseverance, acceptance and courage. Every half term the Woburn Sands school focuses on a different value and recognises the hard work of its values champions. Recent values have included honesty and empathy. The honesty values star award winners were Aya Aloa Abiodum and Susan Perez, while Marion Douglas and Becky Block won the empathy poster competition.

Perseverance was the focus just before Easter.
