Synergy Financial Products handed over a cheque for £7,800 this week.

The money will be put towards the construction of new £35,000 broadcasting studio to train volunteers and improve the quality of shows.

Synergy director Steve Wyatt is a volunteer with the hospital radio, which broadcasts to patients 24 hours a day. He said: “Having first-hand experience of seeing the great work the charity does for the hospital’s patients I am delighted that we are able to support it with this donation.”

Phil Yates, chairman of Milton Keynes Hospital Radio said: “This donation will make a significant step towards raising the full amount.”
