Gang use claw hammer to threaten member of the public

A gang used a claw hammer and lumps of wood to threaten and intimidate a member of the public on Tuesday evening.

The group of young men targeted the victim close to the One Stop Shop, in Coffee Hall, at about 9.30pm.

They also used the weapons to intimidate others in addition to the person they threatened.

No one was injured during the incident, but there were a number of people that would have witnessed it, and police would like these people to come forward.

Officers would also like to speak to a male with a red motability scooter.
