They might not have won The X-Factor, but that hasn’t stopped 16-legged pop machine Stereo Kicks from winning the hearts of music lovers.
And the band is hoping that their followers show their appreciation by picking up a copy of their debut single Love Me So, which was released on Monday.
Speaking to me last week, Stereo Kicks’ Jake Sims said the band are buzzing about the release, although nerves figure too: “We have known this is our single for a good three months now and we are all proper excited and anxious for it.
“Everything comes down to this – literally it is make or break.
“We are anxious but confident as well.”
The band will pay a flying visit to Milton Keynes this afternoon, for a CD signing session at BHS in thecentre:mk
Catch the guys between 4.30pm and 6.30pm and have them scribble across your copy of the disc.
It’ll be their second visit to these parts this year, following their Arena:MK date with Union J a while back.
That last appearance brings back mixed memories
“I was so ill I couldn’t even go to the meet and greet,” Jake recalls.
“It was amazing seeing the reaction we got from the crowd though.
“Union J were the headline act but we got louder screams and more fans, more banners, which was crazy...”
C’mon folks, show ‘em what you can do this afternoon..
