A 13-YEAR-OLD girl was the victim of an exposure as she walked in Walnut Tree.

At about 1.30pm last Tuesday, the girl was walking up Lichfield Down and as she reached the large elongated roundabout on Hindhead Knoll, she crossed over and saw a man sat on a bench on her left, near to the roundabout.

As she walked along the path the man got up and ran behind some bushes, He then walked in front of her, naked from the waist down, exposing himself. He said hello to her, and the girl ran off to a place of safety where she called the police.

As officers were travelling to the scene, another report was received that a man, fitting the same description, was in a play park on Walton Road, and appeared to be touching himself inappropriately.

Officers carried out a full area search of where the incidents took place and surrounding area, however the man was not found.

The man is white, 30 to 40-years-old, of average height and build, with short, dark hair. He was wearing a white T-shirt, white underwear, and holding a pair of grey shorts.

Anyone who saw the man in the area at the time of the offences, or has seen him acting suspiciously before, should contact Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Marc Walters on 101.
