The Hazeley Academy is celebrating a successful Ofsted report on the back of an exciting 12 months which included welcoming a new principal, a new senior leadership team, and gaining its best ever results at KeyStage 5 and topping the league tables in MK at KeyStage 4.
Following the Ofsted inspection in mid-June principal Tony Nelson said he was delighted with the report which celebrates all the many successes and strengths of Hazeley.
He said: “The proportion of students who gain five or more GCSE grades A* to C, including English and mathematics, is above average and is increasing.
“Students’ behaviour is good. They are proud of their academy and treat all staff with respect.
“Achieving a GOOD Ofsted report under the new framework requires a real team effort from staff, students, Governors and parents. The academy continues to focus on its vision of ensuring that students not only leave with great qualifications, but also with character, confidence and creativity.
“By continuing to work together I am confident that there will be many more successes to follow.”
