Great British Bake Off champion Nadiya Hussain picked up a National Television Award last night.
The programme that made her a national treasure won best challenge show at a glitzy awards ceremony last night.
Nadiya, who moved to MK after winning the baking show in October, said: “We did it. So proud to be a part of what was a life changing experience.”
She picked up the award alongside GBBO judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood at London’s O2 last night.
It fought off tough competition from Bear Grylls, Masterchef and The Apprentice.
