The experience of World War One was bought dramatically to life for students at Sir Herbert Leon Academy this week.
The event was planned as part of the GreatWar centenary commemorations with the students enjoying interactive workshops led by a FirstWorld War re-enactor. while professional theatre company the Big Wheel Company provided museum artefacts and interactive theatre performances.
The event was attended by the Mayor Keith McLean who spoke to the students about the lessons to be learnt for future generations.
The commemoration ended in a poignant way with a flag and bugle ceremony provided by representatives from Bletchley’s branch of the Royal British Legion.
