Izabella Emrys, 12, is raising funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust by collecting sponsorship money after deciding to have her hair cut off.

Izabella chose to raise funds for the trust because her best friend has cystic fibrosis and she has seen first-hand what a challenge it can be to live with. Izabella chose the date of February 14 and said: “I chose Valentine’s Day for my head shave because I love my friend and I love the work the Cystic Fibrosis Trust does supporting people with CF.”

So far Izabella has raised £463.75 towards her target of £1,000.

Hairdresser Emma Hopkins will be removing Izabella’s hair and it will be donated to the Little Princess Trust who make wigs for children suffering from hair loss due to cancer treatments.

Izabella’s mum Milly Morris said: “I’m so proud of her it brings me to tears.”
