Visitors to the centre:mk on Tuesday will be able to try ballroom, zumba and line dancing at an event in Middleton Hall.

LINk:MK will be hosting the event for the eighth consecutive year and more than 70 health and care services will be on hand with information about what they offer.

There will also be a chance for people to get involved with Have a Go taster sessions to try ballroom, zumba and line dancing.

There will also be a Health Zone where people can get checked for diabetes, vision and hearing and blood pressure.

The event will be opened at 9.45am by Mayor of Milton Keynes, councillor Catriona Morris, and will run until 5pm.

There will be free goody bags on offer and all new LINk:MK members who sign up on the day will be entered into a free draw to win a number of prizes

Carol Duffy, LINk:MK Manager, said: “Independent LINk:MK enables people to have a say on local health and social care services, that lead to the designing and delivery of services for local need.

“The LINk:MK, team will be on hand on the day to provide further information on LINk:MK, register new members and talk to people about their experiences of services. This unique event is one of the ways we engage with the community and enables local organisations the chance to come together and showcase what they offer too, but is also a really good day, with lots to do and see.”
