Thousands of people are gearing up for the Milton Keynes Marathon – which starts in an hour – and they need the support of city residents.
This will be the second year of the MK event and it will start outside stadium:mk at 10am. It will then take in sights including Willen Lake, the Peace Pagoda and centre:mk as runners pound the roads and redways.
This year people have had the opportunity to run on their own, as part of the Geoffrey Leaver Corporate Relay or the Superhero Fun Run, sponsored by Acorn Childcare.
Despite rain falling heavily during last year’s race the forecast is good so people are encouraged to get out in the sun and cheer on all runners.
