Roar generosity saw Cineworld host a special showing of Disney film The Lion King last week, in aid of Milton Keynes Hospital Charity.
The charity’s Leo’s Appeal, run by Milton Keynes Hospital Charity, is raising money for the hospital’s children’s wards.
And Saturday’s event in the Xscape featured the showing, special games and activities, and an appearance from Leo the Lion himself, while raising £1,100 for the appeal.
Fundraising officer Jenny Howells said: “It was a real treat to work closely with Cineworld Milton Keynes on this event – there was a fantastic turn out and the children loved the film, which we chose because of its link to our charity mascot Leo the Lion.
“Most importantly, we raised much needed funds for Leo’s Appeal – thank you so much to Cineworld Milton Keynes for joining Team Leo.”
