Holy strolling Batman! It’s the Milton Keynes bat walk

A Bat Walk in Milton Keynes on Thursday was a resounding success.

The event, organised by the West Bletchley Council, took place at Chepstow Local Park in West Bletchley and was well-attended by the public.

Despite dark skies the rain stayed off, and everybody managed to see the bats or at least pick up their sounds on detectors.

Simon Rose the parks and environment officer for West Bletchley Council said: “As the event was finishing the main topic of conversation was “where can I purchase a bat detector”, which revealed how much everyone enjoyed the event!”
