MORE than 200 businessmen and women were treated to a special reception to say thank you for supporting Willen Hospice.

The annual Business Reception was held at Mercedes-Benz, Kingston, last Thursday with guests welcomed by the company’s managing director, Warren Brearley.

The event is a chance to celebrate relationships with businesses and people across the city and thank them for their support.

Warren said: “We were delighted to welcome Willen Hospice back for the third consecutive year to our showroom to host their annual business reception.

“The Hospice as one of the key local charities voted for by the team here to provide on-going support to, as we are constantly impressed and frequently humbled by the great work carried out at the Hospice and in the community.”

Paul Hinson, chief executive of Willen Hospice, said: “We are delighted that so many of our key supporters joined us at our Business Reception to help celebrate and share our achievements, nine months into our 30th Anniversary year. Their continued support is always gratefully received and secures the future of Willen Hospice to be always there to care.”

Entertainment was provided by a string quartet from MK City Orchestra and MK Magic.

Mr Brearley presented Willen Hospice with a new Mercedes-Benz A Class to be used by the charity.
