CHARITIES are being urged to apply for their share of £25,000.

To coincide with their 25th birthday celebrations, MK Community Foundation are now offering TWO one-off STEP grants in the region of £25,000 to help the development of two Milton Keynes charities.

The funding will offer support through this difficult economic period, give charities freedom to innovate and become even better prepared to face the future and offer services and support for local people.

A STEP grant will be awarded to a project which can demonstrate plans for at least one of these key development areas: Sustainability, Transition, Evolution or Partnership.

Julia Upton, Chief Executive MK Community Foundation, explains: “I strongly urge all colleagues in our voluntary sector to consider the opportunities these grants could unlock.

“At this time we have to find innovative ways of working to ensure we can continue to support vital local services.

“We hope these awards offer exciting ways to improve the lives of local people and support those in real need.”
