The fourth Love Bletchley Day took place at the weekend and has been described by organisers as the best yet.

Queensway was transformed from a regular street into a busy event with market stalls, live music and entertainment for kids on Saturday.

The success of the day saw over 100 stalls hosted by both new and old traders who were invited to set up on the street and get involved with the fun.

There were a range of different activities throughout the day, including diverse food choices from Thai to free pizza and a separate children’s area which included a trampoline and bouncy castle.

And if that wasn’t enough, there was a bandstand which was constantly filled with live music to entertain the crowds.

With such a demand from traders on the day, another event for next year is already being planned.

Regeneration officer at Bletchley and Fenny Stratford Town Council, Barbara Sullivan, said: “It was a very busy day, with the fourth one being the most busiest and popular day of all.

“There was a constant stream of shoppers from all over. Traders are always keen to attend and we were already receiving enquiries on Saturday regarding the next one which will probably be in May next year.

“This was the best attended Love Bletchley Day yet and we will continue to build on this success year on year.

“A big thanks from Bletchley and Fenny Stratford Town Council to all those who helped run the show and for our supporters who promoted the day far and wide.”
