Asda Wolverton is marking Valentine’s Day by launching a search to find the town’s longest married couple.

The store, located on Creed Street, is on the hunt for the longest married couple who will be presented with a bottle of bubbly and a box of chocolates to make their Valentine’s celebrations extra special.

Joanne Hurley, store manager at Asda Wolverton, said: “Valentine’s Day is all about celebrating your relationship and treating that someone special in your life. This year, we wanted to mark the occasion by giving a gift to the couple who are keeping love alive in Wolverton by clocking up the most years of marriage.

“We’re appealing to married couples in the community, who are celebrating many happy years together, to bring a copy of their marriage certificate to the store next time they are in doing their shopping.”

To enter the search to find Wolverton’s longest married couple, please take a photocopy of your marriage certificate to the store before Tuesday, February 7, and hand to a store colleague. Please include your name and contact details.

The winning couple can collect their gifts on Valentine’s Day.
