An inquest into the death of a baby boy, two days after his birth at Milton Keynes Hospital, is due to open on Thursday.
Joshua Burr and his twin sister Katie were born on March 31, 2014, but Joshua tragically passed away on April 2, at John Radcliffe Hospital where he was transferred for further care.
The inquest into his death will be held on December 10 at Milton Keynes Coroner’s Court.
Joshua’s mum Nicola has instructed expert medical negligence lawyers at Irwin Mitchell to represent them at the hearing.
Kate Major, a specialist medical negligence lawyer at Irwin Mitchell, said: “Joshua’s parents have been left completely devastated by the death of their baby.
“They have many questions about his birth and they hope that the inquest will provide some opportunity for them to learn more about the events leading to Joshua’s death and whether any lessons can be learnt from it.”
