Inspirational forces theatre project opens at the Waterside


Bravo 22 Company, run by the Royal British Legion in association with the theatre opened last night to a standing ovation.
Funded by the Legion and the Buckinghamshire Community Covenant, the production stars cast members from the county’s military community.

Hide AdThe play, written by Roz Wylie, is based on true life insights into the lives of wounded, injured and sick servicemen and woman as well as touching on the effects of military life on families.
Director Steve Rayne said he is pleased that members of the public as well as members of the military have bought tickets for the sell out performances which runs til tomorrow night.
He said: “It’s important that the people who come to watch the play are those that are ignorant to it.
“It is lovely that military come and see it, but they kind of know the story because they’ve lived with it.”

Hide AdMoney raised at the performances from public donations will go towards the Legion’s work providing social, emotional and financial support to serving and ex-service people and their families.
